Our Mission
Proven Practice is committed to turning theory into practice, bridging the gap between knowledge and application for educators, leaders, and stakeholders across all sectors of education.
Meet Our Founder

Lorri Bishop
Founder
After graduating from Palmerston North Teachers College, Lorri returned to New Plymouth to begin a teaching career in a small private centre. Under the mentorship of an experienced, qualified teacher, Lorri developed a passion for practical teaching methods.
My philosophy is “learning by doing.” Practice, whether successful or unsuccessful, becomes a valuable tool for adaptation and improvement. Teachers must engage in “tried and tested” methods to refine their skills and deliver better outcomes.
Recognising gaps in practical skills among new graduates, Proven Practice aims to fill these voids by equipping teachers with foundational and applied strategies for real-world teaching scenarios.
